Much of what it lacks is mostly on the visuals side. While it doesn’t add a lot of game mechanics for the setting and it sacrifices some canon lore just to fit everything into the game nicely, the level of detail and dedication to The Realms’ lore is still astounding. Overall, Crusader Kings II: Faerun - Forgotten Realms Mod is an impressive total conversion mod. For combat, the mod also implements a basic magic system-although this is mostly limited to what the game engine can handle.
